About Me

9 Modern Muses is the culmination of my lifelong dedication to creating art, which began when I was 6 years old, painting scenes on smooth rocks.  

If you asked me then what I wanted to be when I grew up, I’d say, “a French artist.”  

A creative journey later—one that has included my studies at the High School of Art & Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology focusing on fashion illustration, a varied career in advertising and magazines, and yes, a long-awaited dream trip to Paris (or two)—I have realized my vision.  

Like the nine muses of Greek mythology, the strong women in my life (including myself) have inspired me along my winding artistic path toward the divine feminine.
